The Granary Cafe

It’s a lovely little cafe with good coffee and some great options for breakfast. My coffee was served with a home made shortbread biscuit, which I thought was nice touch. Food was 10/10. All cakes were made in house. The chef definitely knew what he was doing. Food was yummy but most of all everything felt fresh. Good place to visit with friends and family. The new management has definitely elevated the levels. Great place for the community. Will definitely be going back. Feels like it can only get better in more months to come.

I have only been to The Granary Cafe once but what I will say is the experience was wonderful and when I get the opportunity to come back to Watlington, the first thing I will do is visit The Granary Cafe because the whole experience like I have said has been amazing.

A gem of a cafe! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and kind. The food was amazing - the full English is perfection! My son thought the burger was exceptional. The cafe was buzzing at lunchtime and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I noticed plenty of regulars chatting with the staff, always a very good sign. Thank you Granary Cafe team! It was great to work from the cafe for a few days. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

Lovely avo and mushrooms on sourdough. Good coffee at a surprisingly low price. Friendly village cafe with good service and countryside feel. Well worth a stopover just off the M40. So much better than the motorway services.

Five stars for The Granary! The food was top-notch and the staff were incredibly welcoming. What really makes it special is the stunning view—it’s the perfect backdrop for a quiet lunch or a weekend treat. If you’re in the Watlington/Oxford area, you have to stop by!

Excellent food and service. I had a latte and their full english breakfast. Easily one of the best cooked breakfasts I've ever had. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the ingredients were of exceptional quality. Even the brown sauce wasn't the regular HP, but a different recipe. Very delicious and well worth the money.

I loved my visit to the Granary Café. It has just reopened with new owners, and you can see how hard they are working. The brunch menu and the coffee was excellent. The food was really delicious. It’s lovely to see the café still serving the local community, just like before. I left very happy and will definitely come back.

Lovely place, great cake selection and very friendly staff. Update 28/07/23 - stopped by for a coffee - lots of tempting treats! Had a coffee - service with a smile. I did like the way they gave us our coffees "to go" very eco friendly.
